The Role:
Following our successful tender win at Sunshine Coast Airport we are embarking on the delivery of six large scale Food & Beverage venues that will be progressively developed over the next 12 months. As a result, we are building a brand-new Food & Beverage team to support what will become our largest F&B footprint to date.
Over the next 12 months we will be bringing to life a diverse portfolio of food and beverage concepts, including:
* An all-day Bar & Dining destination showcasing an extensive range of locally sourced produce.
* An Asian QSR concept featuring in house made dumplings and fresh sushi.
* An Elevated Burger QSR complemented by an innovative self-serve pay by weight dessert bar.
* A Premium Salad & Health Bar focused on fresh ingredients and 100% product traceability.
* Multiple Coffee and Café concepts offering quality coffee alongside a curated range of grab and go items
We are recruiting over 12 BOH Team Members across a range of the below roles to join us in this exciting new chapter.
* Cooks
* Chefs
* Production Chefs
* Sushi Chefs
* Kitchen Managers
As our core Back of House Team, you’ll play a critical role in delivering high-quality food across multiple new venues.
What You’ll Do:
✅ Prepare and cook menu items to recipe and presentation standards
✅ Assist with food prep, portioning, and stock rotation
✅ Maintain high standards of food safety and kitchen hygiene
✅ Support smooth kitchen operations during busy service periods
✅ Work collaboratively with chefs and front-of-house teams
✅ Ensure compliance with Food Safety, WHS, and airport regulations
What We’re Looking For:
✅ Experience in a commercial kitchen or food production environment (preferred)
✅ Passion for food quality and teamwork
✅ Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
✅ Flexible availability, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays
✅ Food Safety certification (or willingness to obtain)
✅ Ability to obtain an ASIC (Aviation Security Identification Card)
