Environmental Advisor – Renewable Energy Projects (12-Month Contract)Location: Lower Wonga site-based role, DIDO from Brisbane or Sunshine CoastContract: Initial 12-month termWe're looking for a proactive Environmental Advisor to join a leading renewable energy developer and become an integral part of an established Health, Safety & Environment team. This role is pivotal in driving safety culture, ensuring compliance, and supporting environmental care across major projects.You'll work closely with contractors and internal teams, influencing at all levels to maintain high standards of health, safety, and environmental performance. Vehicle and accommodation provided.Key ResponsibilitiesCollaborate, coach, and communicate effectively with contractors and project teams.Conduct regular on-site HSE inspections and audits.Liaise with regulatory bodies on project-related in design risk reviews, pre-mobilisation workshops, and commissioning activities.Monitor contractor compliance and address deficiencies.Support incident case management and timely reporting of HSE activities and maintain accurate a proactive and professional approach to safety and compliance.What We're Looking ForStrong knowledge of Australian HSE with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 management systems.Auditing and monitoring expertise.Ability to interpret planning permit requirements.Qualifications & ExperienceDegree in Environmental discipline (preferred).Certificate IV in Workplace Health and Safety.Minimum 3 years' experience in HSE roles within renewable energy or construction sectors.Personal AttributesInfluential and confident thinker with strong time management skills.Team player and self-starter.Able to stay away from home near site Mon-Fri.
