About the Opportunity
Join our P-8 Poseidon Base Maintenance team in Edinburgh and play a key role as an AME (Mechanical) supporting one of the world's most advanced maritime aircraft.
If you enjoy hands-on aircraft maintenance, fault-finding mechanical systems and keeping complex platforms operating safely and efficiently, you'll feel right at home here.
This permanent full-time role sees you working within a supportive, tight-knit team, reporting to the Team Lead Aircraft Maintenance and supporting RAAF 11SQN and 12SQN Maintenance.
You'll be involved in on-aircraft and off-aircraft maintenance, mechanical troubleshooting, rectification tasks and approved modifications—directly contributing to the operational readiness of a high-profile fleet.

* Cert IV in Aeroskills (Mechanical) or equivalent from an RTO
* Strong aviation airworthiness knowledge and experience applying it in a regulated environment
* Experience with aircraft mechanical systems and maintenance practices
* Familiarity with aircraft maintenance documentation, IETPs and contemporary maintenance practices
* Ability to obtain a B-level Military Aircraft Maintenance Licence
* Confident written and verbal communication skills
* Solid computer literacy, including Microsoft Office
