Your opportunity
Join a fast‐paced finance team where your leadership drives accuracy, compliance, and continuous improvement. As Accounts Payable Manager, you'll lead a high‐performing team and oversee end‐to‐end AP operations — ensuring smooth processes, strong vendor relationships, and financial integrity.
* Oversee and manage the purchase order function of the business
* Process high‐volume, multi‐currency invoices (up to 1,100 per week) and payments across 6,000 vendors and complex chart of accounts across ERP databases
* Check fuel volumes, prices and GST compliance are accurate
* Schedule EFT/BPAY/FX supplier payments on time, maintaining agreed terms
* Reconcile supplier statements, resolve discrepancies, and uphold fraud prevention and internal controls
* Manage supplier relationships, disputes, new supplier setups and compliance, and drive continuous improvement with OCR tools
What you'll bring
* Cert IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping is preferred, with strong knowledge of AP principles and practices
* Experience in accounts payable, including experience in a supervisory role
* Proficient in accounting software and ERP systems such as Business Central, SAP, Oracle, or QuickBooks
* Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical, problem‐solving, and time‐management abilities
* Excellent communication and attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy, collaboration, and meeting deadlines
