Area Manager – Child Safety & Youth Services (QLD)
Australian Safe Care is seeking an experienced Area Manager – Child Safety & Youth Services to lead, grow, and scale our youth services division across Queensland.
This is a senior leadership role suited to someone with direct experience working within or alongside QLD Child Safety, strong sector relationships, and a proven ability to drive referrals, placements, and service growth.
About the Role
* Lead the expansion and growth of our Child Safety & Youth Services arm
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with QLD Child Safety officers, teams, and referral pathways
* Act as a key liaison between Child Safety, internal operations, and service delivery
* Support intake, placements, escalation management, and ongoing service continuity
* Guide teams to ensure best-practice, trauma-informed care delivery
* Contribute strategically to growth planning, capacity building, and service development
About You
* Background with QLD Child Safety (current or previous role highly desirable)
* Well-established professional relationships with Child Safety officers and referral networks
* Strong understanding of statutory youth services, placements, and compliance frameworks
* Proven leadership experience within youth, OOHC, residential, or emergency accommodation settings
* Highly professional, credible, and respected within the sector
* Able to drive growth while maintaining quality, safety, and compliance
