About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Delivery Substation and Commissioning Manager to lead our Major Projects team in delivering complex infrastructure projects.
The successful candidate will oversee all substation construction and commissioning activities, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
* Leading a diverse team of Project Managers, Site Managers, Commissioning Specialists, Engineers, and field staff;
* Managing complex brownfield and greenfield delivery environments through to energisation and completion;
* Ensuring compliance with technical, environmental, and stakeholder standards;
* Developing and implementing strategies to improve project outcomes and mitigate risks.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* A proven track record delivering large, complex infrastructure projects with outstanding safety, quality, and stakeholder outcomes;
* Strong leadership skills with experience managing multidisciplinary teams across high-risk construction environments;
* Sound understanding of HSE legislation, risk management, and industry leading practices;
* Highly developed problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively;
* Tertiary qualifications in engineering (preferred) and extensive electrical industry experience.
