About the Role
Reporting to the General Manager - Silos, the Operations Manager – Site Constructed Silos is responsible for the national operational performance of Ahrens’ Site Constructed Silo business, including flat-bottom silos, site-constructed grain storage systems, and associated grain handling infrastructure.
The role has end-to-end accountability for planning, execution, safety, quality, customer outcomes, and financial performance across a geographically dispersed portfolio of projects. A core responsibility of the position is the development, implementation, and ongoing management of a hybrid national delivery model, utilising authorised dealers in selected regions and Ahrens-managed subcontractors and crews in others.
Skills and Experience
The successful candidate must have proven experience in operations and project management, preferably within the agricultural or grain infrastructure industry. Ahrens is seeking an experienced and dynamic leader with strong commercial acumen and communication skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple sites and regional projects. Candidates with experience in managing dealer network and subcontractor delivery models are highly desirable for this role.
