Job Title: HR Manager
Alstom, a global leader in transportation, is seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist to support various functions at our Bellevue, WA site operations. Reporting to the HR Business Partnering Lead for the Rolling Stock & Components Product Line, this professional will be responsible for complex IR/ER matters including shift rosters, enterprise bargaining negotiations, and leading site through transformational change.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support and coach managers in performance improvement and performance management discussions.
* Lead investigations and resolution of complex IR/ER issues.
* Provide ongoing governance training to managers, supervisors, and team leaders on employment law and 'respect at work' to enhance confidence in this area.
* Work with key management personnel to improve the cascade of site communication.
* Comfortable working with unions.
* Offer IR/ER advice, including interpreting legislation, contracts, awards, and policies.
* Support site change management and HR projects with IR/ER focus in mind.
* Manage inbound and outbound expatriates in collaboration with the mobility team, including visa support.
* Perform day-to-day generalist HR activities.
* Support the Performance Management Cycle, including reviews, salary adjustments, objective setting, and succession planning.
* Assist with compensation and benefits activities.
* Provide reporting and data expertise for your area of responsibility to support business justification and positioning.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in human resources management or a related field.
* Strong knowledge of employment law and corporate governance.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
