Our Rare Earths deposit in Mt Weld, Western Australia, is acknowledged as one of the highest-grade Rare Earths mine in the world and we operate the world’s largest single Rare Earths processing plant in Malaysia – so you’re joining a very unique team! As a team member you will be contributing to the sustainable supply of rare earths metals which are used in oil & gas, electric vehicles, and wind turbines. An opportunity exists for an experienced Medical Emergency Services Officer (MESO) to join Lynas Rare Earths. This role is responsible to assist in implementation, monitoring and management of the sites Medical and Emergency Services, systems and processes at Mt Weld operation. This is a FIFO position from Perth to our Mt Weld Operations on an 8/6 roster. As a highly valued member of the Lynas Rare Earths team, you will: Maintain the emergency response and medical facilities, equipment and resources for the Mt Weld Operation Expertise in reviewing documentation and writing reports Demonstrated experience in designing, developing and maintaining effective integrated management systems (IMS) Demonstrated experience in the application of HSE legislation relevant to mining practices. Demonstrated experience providing clarity and advice relating to HSE statutory requirements, as well as experience in managing interactions with regulators and external bodies relating to HSE performance. Demonstrated experience of broad-based stakeholder engagement with specific focus on near mine communities. Significant experience handling HSE projects and issues.
