This is a full-time position for an Electrical Engineer with a strong background in electrical design, control systems, and project delivery. You'll play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining electrical systems and components across high-profile venues and facilities.

You'll be joining a highly regarded Australian-owned integrator and contractor with over 50 years of industry experience. Known for delivering end-to-end solutions across sound, audio-visual, lighting, and production communications, they work locally, nationally, and globally. You'll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, ensuring seamless delivery of integrated packages to clients in sectors such as sporting venues, performing arts centres, government, schools, and corporate facilities.

What will you be doing?
Designing, testing, and commissioning electrical systems, including industrial control cabinets (relays, PLCs, touchscreens, VSDs, motor drives)
Assisting in the assembly of components and ensuring compliance with Australian Standards
Providing technical support to clients, contractors, and service technicians
Conducting quality assurance checks, inspections, and documentation
Supporting project delivery to meet time, cost, and quality requirements
Collaborating with engineers, technicians, and other departments to ensure smooth outcomes
Maintaining a strong focus on safety, compliance, and continuous improvement
What do you need?
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
Minimum 3 years' experience as an Electrical Engineer
Proven experience in design, repair, and commissioning of control cabinets
Experience programming PLCs and HMIs
Proficiency in design/drawing software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Altium Designer preferred)
Strong knowledge of Australian electrical codes and safety standards
Mandatory: Current Police Check, NSW (or relevant state) Driver's Licence, and Construction White Card
