Our client, Thompson and Redwood, is a Western Australian company specialising in the manufacturing and supply of premium animal nutrition and stockfeed products for both domestic and export markets. The business services the agricultural, equine, livestock, and rural sectors through the production and distribution of high-quality feed solutions across Australia and selected international markets. Due to continued business growth and increasing marketing requirements associated with domestic expansion, distributor support, digital marketing initiatives, and export market engagement, our client is seeking to appoint a full-time Marketing Officer to support the implementation of its marketing and brand development strategies.
Position Summary
On behalf of our client, we are seeking a Marketing Officer to assist in coordinating and implementing marketing strategies, digital campaigns, brand promotion activities, and customer engagement initiatives for Thompson and Redwood's animal nutrition and stockfeed products across domestic and international markets. The role requires a combination of marketing coordination, digital content management, market research, and stakeholder engagement skills within the agricultural and manufacturing sectors.
Typical Job Responsibilities
* Assisting in the development and implementation of marketing campaigns and promotional activities.
* Managing website updates, social media platforms, and digital marketing content.
* Coordinating advertising materials, product promotion campaigns, and branding activities.
* Conducting market research and analysing competitor and customer trends.
* Supporting distributor marketing initiatives and export market communications.
* Coordinating participation in agricultural, equine, and industry trade events.
* Preparing marketing reports, promotional materials, and campaign performance summaries.
* Liaising with external marketing providers, designers, printers, and media suppliers.
Preferred Skills
* Experience within agriculture, manufacturing, export, livestock, equine, or rural industries.
* Experience with digital marketing tools, SEO, content creation, or website management.
* Understanding of export market promotion and distributor engagement.
Minimum Requirements
* Relevant qualification in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field.
* At least one year experience in marketing, communications, or digital marketing.
* Experience managing social media and digital content platforms.
* Strong organisational and stakeholder management skills.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced commercial environment.
