u&u have been exclusively retained to identify a Business Development Manager to join Certis Security Australia’s Sydney team. Certis Security Australia is one of the country’s leading security service providers, with over 3,000 employees nationwide, delivering industry-leading security solutions that combine technology with skilled personnel. As part of the Singapore-headquartered Certis Group, owned by Temasek Holdings, they offer integrated security solutions including operations technology, aviation security, frontline protection, and concierge services worldwide.
About the Role
Reporting to the Head of Sales, the Business Development Manager will drive sales growth, secure new business, and expand Certis' market presence by identifying, engaging, and acquiring new clients while managing key relationships to maximize revenue and market share.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute strategies to acquire new business within targeted industry segments, focusing on high-value contracts;
Create value-based sales strategies aligned with Certis' growth objectives;
Build and maintain strong client relationships at multiple levels;
Develop account plans to increase market share and client base;
Analyze industry trends, competitor activities, and market opportunities, translating insights into strategies;
Lead tender and proposal responses, collaborating across teams to deliver competitive submissions.
About You
Proven success in business development, sales strategy, and contract negotiation;
Strong commercial acumen to identify and capitalize on opportunities;
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills;
Ability to collaborate across multiple business units;
Experience in security, facilities management, or related industries preferred;
Willingness to travel as required.
