Job Title: Therapeutic Support Worker
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Therapeutic Support Worker to join our team. In this rewarding role, you will play a vital part in supporting children and young people to achieve their case plan goals.
About the Role:
* You will work closely with our experienced team to develop and implement high-quality therapeutic case plans that cater to the unique needs of each child or young person.
* You will be responsible for creating leaving care plans to support young people over 16 as they transition to independent living.
* You will attend shifts within our intensive therapeutic care homes, working collaboratively with our team to provide exceptional care and support.
* You will drive the implementation of Leaving care Plans / P4I Plans / Cultural Support Plans, ensuring the achievement of case plan goals is prioritized.
* You will engage effectively with children, young people, their families, and local community services, building strong relationships to facilitate positive outcomes.
* You may be required to participate in an on-call roster as needed.
* You will ensure compliance with internal policies, statutory requirements, and contractual obligations in relation to service delivery management.
Requirements:
* Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is desirable, but not essential. We welcome applications from candidates with relevant experience and skills.
* You must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children, young people, and their families.
* A strong understanding of child development, attachment theory, and trauma-informed practice is essential.
* You should be able to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team and prioritize tasks efficiently.
* A full UK driving license is advantageous, but not necessary.
