Site Manager

Are you a Site Manager seeking a new and exciting challenge?

Village is seeking a dynamic and self‑motivated Site Manager to join our friendly housing team. This full‑time role reports directly to the Construction Manager.

Key Responsibilities

1. Site Leadership & Coordination

* Lead and supervise all on‑site construction activities, trades and subcontractors for multi‑million‑dollar residential and mixed‑use projects.
* Ensure daily operations align with project plans, program, and Construction Manager direction.

2. Program, Quality & Delivery

* Develop and manage the construction program, ensuring progress aligns with time, cost and quality benchmarks.
* Drive sequencing, scheduling, site set‑out and defect‑free delivery across projects.

3. Stakeholder & Subcontractor Management

* Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and consultants to ensure smooth project execution.
* Represent Village professionally when dealing with stakeholders, designers and internal teams.

4. Safety, Compliance & Reporting

* Promote a strong WHS culture through inductions, toolbox talks, inspections, and adherence to legislation and company systems.
* Maintain accurate documentation and reporting using MS Office and SIMPEL.

5. Hands‑On Support

* Assist with practical site activities when required, including site set‑out and problem‑solving works.

6. Procurement & Resource Management

* Coordinate procurement and timely delivery of materials via approved suppliers to maintain workflow efficiency.

· Monitor material usage and stock levels on site, ensuring cost control and minimising waste

7. Environmental Management

* Oversee environmental controls as per DA and legislation.

· Ensure erosion, sediment, dust and waste management measures are implemented and maintained to compliant standards.

What You'll Bring

* Minimum 5 years' experience as a Site Manager delivering townhouse, medium‑density or shopping centre projects valued $30M+.
* Strong understanding of construction methodology, programming, sequencing and safety processes.
* Experience managing high‑traffic or live‑environment sites.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel and Bluebeam.
* Excellent communication, leadership and problem‑solving skills.
* High attention to detail with quality finishes.
* Reliable, self‑motivated, professional and able to work autonomously.
* Building licence favourable but not essential.
* Ability to contribute to early‑stage planning, ECI and buildability reviews.
