Overview
Iron Mine Contracting (IMC) was formed to provide Civil, Mining, Crushing and Screening and Indigenous partnering opportunities to the West Australian market. IMC and its associated indigenous Joint Venture partners have been delivering projects to Tier 1 Resource clients including Rio Tinto, Woodside Petroleum, Northern Star Resources, Fortescue, Roy Hill, Liontown Resources and Newcrest Mining amongst others since 2013. With extensive experience working for clients in remote areas and a deep body of knowledge gained from its diverse multidisciplinary team, IMC understands the specific challenges that constructing and delivering for its Western Australian clients presents.
About our role
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Procurement Officer to join our team at our Osborne Park office, supporting our operations. This is a key role in ensuring the smooth flow of materials and services critical to our civil and mining activities. As part of our Procurement team, you will be responsible for day-to-day purchasing, expediting, freight requirements and supplier engagement, with a strong focus on operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
What You will focus on
* Converting purchase orders accurately within company standards and procedures
* Freight bookings and track deliveries
* Resolve discrepancies and ensure timely supply to avoid operational delays
* Build strong internal and external relationships
* Time management and meeting key performance indicators
* Adopt a positive safety culture
What You'll Bring
* Experience in purchasing, ideally within mining, construction, or industrial sectors.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

* Familiarity with ERP software (e.g., Pronto, SAP, or similar).
