Role Overview
This role involves delivering trauma-informed education and support to teachers, parents, and caregivers working in schools and classrooms.
The consultant will work closely with school executives/leadership teams to deliver tailored education and support initiatives across appointed schools.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide high-quality professional development training for all staff members
* Offer coaching engagements for teachers and caregivers to enhance their skills
* Participate in school leadership meetings to ensure effective collaboration
* Consult with school staff and caregivers to identify and address students' social-emotional needs
* Develop and facilitate wellbeing-focused capacity-building opportunities for parents and carers
* Conduct classroom observations and provide coaching to teachers on safety, regulation, and social-emotional competencies
