In this role, you will handle diagnostics, maintenance, services, repairs, rebuilds, and attend to breakdowns on a variety of agricultural and construction machinery.Your new role
* Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues in diesel trucks
* Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, filter replacements, and inspections
* Repair or replace faulty components such as engines, transmissions, brakes, and suspension systems
* Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure optimal truck performance and longevity
* Inspect and repair hydraulic systems and cooling systems
* Test and adjust systems to meet manufacturer specifications
* Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify issues accurately
* Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and inspections
* Collaborate with other team members to complete larger projects or repairs
* Ensure compliance with safety standards and guidelines while working on vehicles
What you'll need to succeed
* Qualification in agricultural mechanics or any other mechanical field
* Practices safe work methods, collaborates well in a team, excels in communication, and demonstrates strong problem-solving skills
* Holds a valid car license
* HR and forklift licenses are advantageous
* Must have contactable references
