Job Opportunity
A motivated Trainer & Assessor is required to develop people, support crews and apply practical machinery experience.
Applicants with heavy earthmoving machinery experience and training background are welcome. Travel will be required to regional sites.
* Complete VOCs for new operators
* Mentor and coach developing or inexperienced operators
* Maintain annual training plan
* Provide pathways for operators to gain broader mobile plant experience
* Maintain accurate training records
* Keep mobile plant training materials and safe work instructions up-to-date
* Support supervisors and project managers with workforce training needs
* Contribute to a positive workplace culture
Requirements
* Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (or willingness and ability to complete promptly)
* Experience with heavy machinery in civil construction industry
* Genuine desire to support and encourage operators
* Strong administrative, organisational and communication skills
* Confidence engaging with personnel at all levels
* Proactive approach and commitment to safe work practices
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Ability to travel to various sites as required
