About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Key Account Manager with strong online and digital experience in the FMCG industry to join our team.
Reporting to the National Sales Manager, this role will be at the heart of our digital sales strategy.
You will collaborate closely with our marketing team to lead digital consumer acquisition activities, building brand share online and delivering monthly revenue and spend targets.
The role will focus on managing and driving our business through pure play online retailers (Amazon and Pet Circle).
Additionally, the role will be responsible for new business development of pure play online retailers to expand our market presence, while supporting the account team to deliver compelling online execution in bricks and clicks retailers such as Pet Barn and Pet Stock.
Key Responsibilities
* Customer Relationship Management: Develop and execute sales strategies for pure play ecommerce and bricks and clicks customers, driving revenue growth, market penetration, and brand advocacy.
* Sales Strategy Development: Design and implement strategies to drive online sales and achieve revenue targets, identifying new market opportunities and fostering relationships with key online retailers.
* Digital Online Execution: Work closely with the marketing team to deliver NPD launches to maximize penetration.
* New Business Development: Proactively identify and target emerging players in the e-commerce sector, negotiating sustainable trading terms agreements and executing onboarding strategies for sustained sales growth.
* Ecommerce Expertise: Stay at the forefront of emerging trends in digital and ecommerce.

You should also possess:
* The ability to demonstrate experience in building CPG brands with e-commerce retailers in ANZ or other markets, achieving multi-year share growth on those brands.
* Minimum of 3 years of key account management experience with a focus on e-commerce, showcasing strong customer relationship skills.
* Developing, executing and stewarding joint business plans with online retailers.
* Significant experience in successfully managing the e-commerce channel for an FMCG brand, achieving key performance indicators (KPIs), and driving revenue growth.
* Proven track record in e-commerce trade marketing, specifically in growing trial, penetration, and brand visibility online.
* Strong leadership skills with a results-oriented mindset, ensuring successful execution of customer initiatives and exceptional service delivery.
