Job Description
This role is part of our engineering team in Cairns, where you will be responsible for carrying out aircraft maintenance. You will work closely with various specialist teams to contribute to a strong engineering culture focused on operational excellence.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* B1 Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer with a sound knowledge of Civil Aviation Regulations.
* CASA Part 66 license with B1 Unrestricted Type Rating for A320 (mandatory), and B787 and 717 desirable but not mandatory.
* Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, supported by the ability to assess and interpret options and develop solutions for the line environment.
* Proven experience working in a line maintenance environment.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate across all levels.
* Possess a strong working knowledge of and demonstrated experience in being actively involved in SMS activities such as fatigue management, workplace inspections, reporting etc.
* Achieved a minimum 'satisfactory' performance rating during the last 12 months.
* Ability to work a rotating shift pattern as required by business needs.
