The Opportunity
We're seeking a Senior Structural Engineer with 8+ years of experience (Australian experience preferred) to join our close-knit team.
If you're looking for technically challenging work, the opportunity to take ownership of projects, and a clear pathway into leadership role without getting lost in a large corporate structure, this could be the role for you.
Candidates with an existing client base will be viewed favourably.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
* Perform engineering analysis using software tools including SLABS, SpaceGass, Stand7, Structural Toolkit
* Provide engineering solutions in accordance with Australian Standards
* Prioritise and deliver work in line with project schedules and budgets
* Oversee junior engineers and provide technical guidance
* Attend site inspections/meetings and liaising with clients
* Prepare high quality structural documentation and reports
Knowledge and Skills:
* Bachelor of Engineering with minimum 8+ years' post-graduate experience
* Experience within Australian structural engineering consultancies
* CPEng status (or working towards) advantageous.
* Strong experience in residential structural engineering
* Knowledge of residential construction practices and council requirements
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
