Your new role
In this role, you will primarily be responsible for estimating full machine rebuilds rather than individual component repairs, requiring a comprehensive understanding of overhaul scopes and requirements. This includes developing detailed parts lists using SIS for CAT models, along with liaising with OEM providers to obtain accurate parts quotes for inclusion in company templates. In addition to estimating, you will support workshop coordination activities and assist with store‐related responsibilities such as receipting, dispatch, and occasional parts ordering. This is a full‐time, Monday to Friday role offering variety and responsibility.
What you'll need to succeed
* Proven experience in estimating complete machine rebuilds and overhauls (essential)
* Strong knowledge of heavy equipment systems across multiple makes and models
* Experience using CAT SIS or similar systems
* Ability to scope full rebuild jobs, not just individual component repairs
* Experience sourcing parts and liaising with OEM suppliers
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to support workshop coordination and store functions
* High attention to detail and strong communication skills
