Immi Bird Pty Ltd Moe & Co Lux Belconnen, located at Shop 306, Westfield Belconnen, 18 Benjamin Way, Belconnen ACT 2617, is seeking a skilled and passionate Senior Hairdresser to join our team. This role suits an experienced hairdresser who enjoys working in a busy salon and delivering high-quality services to a diverse client base.
Our salon offers cutting, colouring, styling, and specialised treatments for men and women. As a Senior Hairdresser, you will perform precision cuts, colouring, styling, and advanced treatments while maintaining a welcoming salon environment and building strong client relationships. This is a full-time role offering a competitive salary between $75,000 – $85,000 per year plus superannuation .

Task & responsibilities Provide professional hair cutting and styling services for both men and women. Perform hair colouring services including highlights, balayage, and colour corrections. Deliver advanced hair treatments such as keratin treatments, straightening, and hair care services.
Create a range of styles including blow-dries, upstyles, braids, and special event styling. Consult with clients to understand their preferences and recommend suitable styles or treatments. Advise clients on hair care routines and suitable hair products.
Maintain hygiene standards by sanitising tools, equipment, and workstations. Manage appointments and walk-in clients efficiently to ensure smooth daily operations. Process transactions using the salon’s point-of-sale (POS) system.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a positive salon environment and mentor junior team members when required. Qualification & experience Certificate III or IV in Hairdressing. At least 2 years of hairdressing experience in a salon environment .
Strong skills in hair cutting, colouring, and styling. Ability to consult with clients and deliver personalised results. Good knowledge of professional hair products and hair care.
