Job Description
Are you a hands-on problem solver who loves making a difference?If you have maintenance skills and enjoy variety in your day, this could be a great fit. You'll have the flexibility to work weekends and public holidays. This is a full-time role, however we're open to part-time for the right person.On a daily basis you will:
* Maintain facilities and grounds to the highest standard, always looking for ways to exceed guest expectations
* Complete daily maintenance and grounds checklists
* Follow direction from the Park Manager
What you'll do:
* Ensure premium presentation and maintenance of our grounds.
* Incidental customer service assistance with minor maintenance repairs across our caravan and camping sites, cabins, amenities and other facilities.
* Assist with building projects, repairs, renovations, mechanical repairs, painting, basic plumbing or replacing hardware.
* Servicing pool, repairs and maintenance as required
* Maintain grounds and gardens
* Liaise with other departments to ensure the efficient completion of maintenance tasks
What you'll bring:
* Experience in grounds and basic maintenance work. Trade qualification would be a bonus butnot necessary - we are looking for a genuine all-rounder.
* Previous experience with ride on & push mowers, pruning, hedging, landscaping and weed control would be ideal
* Knowledge and understanding of basic hygiene requirements and safe working procedures.
* Have an ability to work unsupervised with a "hands on" work history.
* Be hardworking, energetic, enthusiastic and possess a high level of physical fitness.
Please note, this is a physically demanding role.
