Cleaning, Inspection, Restoration & Testing Services (CIRTS)
CIRTS plays a vital role in the recovery process after property damage, which could be caused by various incidents such as fires, floods, storms or criminal activity. Our goal is ultimately to return damaged property to its previous condition as quickly and efficiently as possible while minimising the inconvenience and disruption to property owners.
CIRTS, has an excellent reputation of providing remediation services to insurance builders and insurance companies as well as private clients and customers in the residential, commercial, industrial, healthcare, education, childcare, aged care, local, state and federal government agencies. We service NSW (Sydney, Central Coast, Newcastle/Hunter, and Northern Rivers) and Southern Queensland (SE Queensland and Gold Coast), assisting with often complex restoration projects.
The Role
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking General Labourer to join our team to be based in the Northern Rivers areas of New South Wales with work ranging from Ballina to the Gold Coast. This role involves a variety of tasks, including assisting with basic demolition and cleaning activities, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and supporting the team with general labour duties.
Key responsibilities include:
* Assisting with demolition and cleaning tasks, including carrying materials, loading/unloading, and basic manual labour.
* Helping with the dismantling and removal of structures, debris, and waste during demolition work.
* Limited use of power tools under supervision (e.g., drills, sanders, or demolition tools).
* Cleaning and sanitising the work area, including vacuuming, mopping, wet wiping, and general housekeeping duties.
* Ensuring tools and equipment are properly maintained and stored.
* Adhering to safety protocols and maintaining a safe and organised work environment.
About You

* Possess a great work ethic and positive attitude.

* Have excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
* Be a team-player and work with your colleagues to achieve common goals.
* Previous experience as a Restoration Technician is preferred (although not essential).
* Previous experience in general labouring or cleaning is an asset.
* Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
* Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness and safety.
* Basic knowledge of power tools (training provided as needed).
* Physically fit and able to lift heavy materials.
Successful Candidates Will Ideally:
* Hold a current Drivers Licence
* Hold a WHS White Card or be prepared to obtain one.
* Be prepared to obtain a Working with Children Blue Card
* Hold IICRC qualifications (not essential)
* Have a background in the general labouring and/or cleaning industries.
