Fitzroy Mining Operations is a prominent force in the Queensland metallurgical coal mining industry with a portfolio of existing operations and a pipeline of growth projects. In our short history, we have successfully reinvigorated operations at Carborough Downs underground mine, breathed new life into the Broadlea open cut, and established our newest underground longwall mine at Ironbark No.1.

Key Responsibilities:
* Manage day-to-day functioning and performance of the crew
* Effectively manage people and equipment to carry out planned work activities
* Assist in achieving targets and statutory obligations
Requirements:
* Prioritising of activities with the crew
* Provide leadership to the crew setting a positive example and assisting the team to achieve their full potential
* Clearly define and communicate performance goals and provide regular and objective feedback on performance
* Ensure compliance with all relevant statutory requirements and carrying out statutory inspections and mine standards
* Ensure all workers work safely and efficiently while carrying out their duties with due regard for quality of work
* Complete required levels of reporting as part of information flow on site
