The Targeted Early Intervention (TEI) program is a NSW Department of Communities and Justice initiative designed to support families and communities by providing early intervention and prevention services to children, young people, and families, with a particular focus on Aboriginal children and families who may be experiencing vulnerability.
The TEI Manager is responsible for the leadership, coordination, and delivery of the Targeted Early Intervention program at Winanga-Li. This includes the design, implementation, and evaluation of culturally appropriate early intervention and support services for Aboriginal children, young people, and their families.
This is an Aboriginal identified position.
In this role, you will:
* Leading the planning, implementation, and monitoring of TEI services in alignment with Winanga-Li's strategic goals and TEI program outcomes.
* Ensuring culturally safe, strengths-based, and trauma-informed practice across all program activities.
* Coordinating the development and delivery of group programs, case coordination, community engagement, and support services.
* Assisting in the promotion of Winanga-Li ACFC projects and programs to the wider community
* Developing strong links with local and other relevant networks to promote to, and access, families to the centre's programs
* Assessing and reviewing the support needs of vulnerable and disadvantaged families, children and community members
* Building and maintaining strong networks, service delivery partnerships, effective referral pathways and positive working relationships with other community service providers, other professionals, private service providers and school personnel as required
* Liaising with and/or promoting the interests of service users with other community service providers, other professionals, private service providers and school personnel as required
* High Level record keeping and data monitoring skills, knowledge and experience
* Planning and implementing community events and activities that promote strong children, strong families, a strong community and a strong cultural identity.
This position is subject to applicants having a current Working with Children Check, National Criminal Record Check clearances and a current unrestricted NSW Driver's license
