Job Purpose
We are seeking an MC Truck Driver to join our team, based in Port Botany NSW. In this role, you will be responsible for the safely transporting of full containers. We currently have a permanent full-time opportunity available working Monday to Friday starting from 4:00am.
Key Accountabilities
* Safely transport full import and export containers within the Port precinct
* Efficiently reposition empty containers throughout the Port precinct
* Complete container deliveries to customer sites across metropolitan and regional/rural locations
* Conduct thorough pre-start inspections, report equipment faults, and perform weight scale calibrations
* Support the effective management of Chain of Responsibility (CoR) and associated compliance requirements
* Accurately record driver timesheets and load data in accordance with company standards
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
* Hold a current MC licence and MSIC, with a safe driving record
* Experience in container truck driving, including A-Doubles, reversing, and trailer breakdown
* Knowledge of Sydney Empty Parks and Terminals and compliance with Chain of Responsibility (CoR) regulations
* Familiarity with MTData, WAVE, and electronic work diary systems (highly desirable)
* Strong commitment to vehicle cleanliness, personal presentation, and adherence to legal weight/load requirements
