Overview
We have a great opportunity for an Asphalt Crew Member to join our team in Port Kembla. This hands-on role is an important part of our operations, where you’ll contribute to the delivery of high-quality road surfacing projects. Day to day, you’ll be operating mobile construction equipment, supporting the crew with a range of labouring tasks, and ensuring all work is carried out safely and efficiently. This position offers the chance to build your skills in a supportive team environment while playing a key role in delivering projects that help connect communities.
Your Day Will Involve
- Contribute to all crew tasks as necessary to deliver a quality product in a safe environment
- Safely and efficiently operate asphalt mobile plant equipment
- Maintain company trucks and plant equipment
- Participate in site safety and business improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with Boral OH&S; policies, meeting safety and environmental standards
What are we looking for?
- Experience in asphalt road surfacing (preferred)
- Strong commitment to safety and the environment with a superior customer focus
- General Construction Induction Card
- Current Heavy Vehicle driver\'s license (HR) or Mobile Equipment National Competency (highly regarded)
- Proven ability to work well within a team environment
- Available to work from Monday to Sunday and nights as required
