Overview
Locum solo sonographer required for a well-supported regional role. Monday – Friday hours. Travel, car, and accommodation provided.
Role – Locum Sonographer; Location: Glen Innes and Tenterfield Hospitals, NSW. Hourly pay rate – Locum payrates on offer. Rates DOE. Date and duration – Immediate start until 25 July.
Responsibilities
1. Work as a solo sonographer in a site without an on-site radiologist, with the ability to work independently.
2. Perform general ultrasound with a focus on obstetrics and musculoskeletal imaging.
3. Liaise effectively in the absence of an on-site radiologist and provide clear reports.
Qualifications
4. Current ASAR registration and compliance with relevant accreditation standards.
5. Proficiency in general ultrasound with strong obstetric and musculoskeletal imaging skills.
6. Experience using Mindray Resona or similar ultrasound systems and ability to adapt to new equipment.
