Ardour Milton Park Bowral has officially reopened as the flagship property of our new luxury brand, Ardour Hotels & Estates, following a remarkable multi million dollar transformation that reimagines the historic 1910 estate while honouring its aristocratic heritage.

We are seeking a Regional Sales Manager to drive top‐line revenue through proactive sales activity, strategic relationship development, and effective leadership of our Conferences & Events (C&E) sales function and team. Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will be the primary driver of regional sales performance - expanding corporate, leisure, group, and event business; building premium partnerships; and maintaining a strong, well‐qualified pipeline that reflects our luxury boutique identity.

This role requires a regular onsite presence at Ardour Milton Park Bowral, ensuring deep engagement with the property, team, and guest experience. You will additionally be in the field developing corporate relationships, expanding market reach, and driving new business.

This position suits a commercially savvy sales professional who can interpret revenue trends, pricing guidance, and market insights to influence strategy and outcomes. Collaboration across revenue, marketing, and operations is essential to ensure alignment and consistency in delivering exceptional guest and event experiences.

The role and key duties

* Contribute to the hotel's annual commercial plan alongside the GM and regional commercial leaders, bringing forward valuable on‐the‐ground sales insights.
* Drive proactive sales across corporate, leisure, group, and local markets - sourcing, pitching, negotiating, and converting new business while nurturing repeat and referral accounts.
* Lead, coach, and develop the C&E sales team, strengthening capability, conversion discipline, and seamless handover to Operations.
* Oversee the full event sales cycle - from enquiry and proposal through to contracting and operational handover - ensuring commercial viability, margin awareness, and exceptional guest satisfaction.
* Maintain CRM accuracy, forecast confidently, and report regularly on sales results, pace, C&E performance, and conversion trends.
* Analyse market trends and competitor activity to identify revenue opportunities and recommend tactical sales priorities.
* Partner with the Regional Revenue Manager by providing sales intelligence, pace commentary, and demand signals that support pricing, inventory, and channel decisions.
* Support the Regional Marketing Manager by sharing insights, content needs, and guest feedback to strengthen campaigns, PR initiatives, and digital activity.
* Build strategic local partnerships and represent the property at trade shows, business forums, and industry networking events.
* Monitor KPIs and contribute to regional commercial optimisation initiatives aimed at improving RevPAR, market share, and overall profitability.
* Support the GM and regional leadership team with ad‐hoc projects, commercial reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Essential criteria required to be considered

* Strong background in hotel sales, business development, or commercial roles within the luxury hotel environment.
* Demonstrated leadership experience, ideally with oversight of C&E or event sales teams.
* Exceptional relationship‐building, negotiation, and presentation skills.
* Strong commercial acumen with the ability to interpret revenue, pricing, and market indicators.
* High level of organisation, CRM discipline, and confidence in forecasting and pipeline management.
* A refined approach to customer service aligned to luxury and boutique experiences.
