**Events Officer Role Overview**
As an Events Officer at everi-pty, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing various events that align with our values and objectives. This includes community activities, stakeholder functions, and employee events.
About the Role:
The Events Officer will work closely with the Corporate and Community Relations team to plan and execute events. Key responsibilities include:
* Event Planning & Delivery: Coordinate and manage community events, internal events, and employee functions to foster a positive culture within the company.
* Sponsorship & Promotion: Support the development of sponsorship strategies and promotional activities to ensure events are well-supported and widely recognised.
* Vendor & Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise with suppliers, contractors, and external partners to ensure seamless event execution and effective relationship management.
* Event Evaluation: Gather feedback, analyse event performance, and provide recommendations for improvement to drive continuous event success.
About You:
* Experience & Skills: Proven experience in event management, strong organisational skills, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Leadership & Teamwork: A natural leader with a team-oriented mindset who demonstrates our values, including respect, collaboration, and accountability.
* Technical Proficiency: High-level PC skills, including expertise in MS Office suite, event registration platforms, and stakeholder database management.
Qualifications:
* A tertiary qualification in Event Management or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.
* Mandatory C class driver's license.
