About the role: The Commercial Analyst will work with a collaborative team of analysts based in our Mayfield office to provide divisional support across accounting, budgeting and forecasting to meet periodic reporting requirements within the Wire business. Reporting to the Commercial Finance Manager, the key responsibilities include the following.
Responsibilities
* Prepare weekly cashflow forecast and identify areas for improvement based on the current forecast accuracy.
* Coordinate site-specific month end accounting functions within defined timeframes.
* Prepare and distribute monthly reporting pack for the Wire Business.
* Coordinate the annual budget process through the consolidation of quantitative and qualitative information.
* Assist in the collection, analysis and presentation of market data to support product decisions as required.
* Run analysis of key cost drivers with a view to identify performance improvement opportunities and initiatives.
Requirements / Qualifications
* Tertiary qualified in Commerce, Finance or Accounting.
* Strong commercial acumen and eagerness to learn.
* Experience within a heavy industrial/manufacturing environment is highly regarded.
* Experience with Power BI / SAP is an added advantage.
* Advanced Excel modelling skills.
