Job Title: Infrastructure Operations Lead
Job Description
Civil infrastructure is the backbone of our national logistics network. As an Infrastructure Operations Lead, you will be responsible for leading a team of track workers and road patrollers in managing day-to-day maintenance operations.
The role involves directing and managing teams to achieve targets, due dates, and quality standards. You will also be responsible for tracking rosters, on-time performance, safety, and deliverables against benchmarks and standards of performance.
Additionally, you will provide daily management and support to team members by reviewing leave, conducting discipline, investigating and managing performance, undertaking risk management, and conducting job safety analysis.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* High level of skill in trouble shooting, fault rectification, minor repairs, and the carrying out of preventative maintenance procedures on rail infrastructure.
* High level of skill in monitoring and implementing service delivery plans to achieve operational targets and customer service within a major logistics business.
* Ample level of skill in managing and prioritising work schedules in different operational areas including operations, personnel management.
* High level of technical competence and ability to undertake operational tasks.
* Ample level of skill in influencing, persuading, counselling, and motivating customers, suppliers, peers, and team members.
