Customer Development Manager

MaptekTM is looking for a Customer Development Manager to join our team in Perth or Brisbane. As part of the Customer Success Organisation and reporting to the APAC Sales and Technical Services Manager, the primary focus of the role is to collaborate closely with existing customers and actively identify business opportunities.
The Customer Development Manager plays a key role in driving customer engagement and business growth. This position focuses on developing strong, long-term relationships with clients and identifying opportunities to expand our solutions across their operations.
Lead regular customer management meetings, ensuring alignment between client needs and business objectives.
Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve growth targets and strengthen market position.
Proactively generate and qualify leads through market research, networking, and collaboration with internal teams.
Deliver compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations that highlight value and return on investment.
Work closely with marketing, technical, and support teams to ensure seamless customer experiences and long-term satisfaction.
Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform strategic decisions.

A successful candidate will have:
Proven experience in the Australian mining industry.
Confident, enthusiastic, and energetic self-starter.
Capable of working autonomously with equal effectiveness in a collaborative team environment.
Good technical writing skills for developing sales proposals and presentations.
Professional personal presentation and business attire.
Fluent English at a highly technical and professional level.
Qualifications
Degree or Post Graduate qualifications in Geoscience.
Vocational qualifications in leadership and management are desirable.
A current Australian Class C Driver's Licence.
