About The Role
Are you a motivated, reliable, and positive customer service professional? RACQ Townsville is looking for someone like you to join our member and Community Retail Store. As the first point of contact for our members, you'll play a key role in delivering outstanding service experiences. Your friendly approach and commitment to excellence will help us to continue to support our members and the wider community with care and professionalism.
Compensation & Hours
* Rate of pay at commencement: $31.65 + Super
* Part‑time permanent: 25 hours per week, 9:00 am – 2:00 pm, Monday to Friday
Responsibilities
* Engage members in conversation to build rapport
* Actively listen to members, seeking to understand the reason for their visit
* Match and direct members with an appropriate consultant while settling expectations
* Create memorable experiences for members by showing empathy and supporting them in important life moments
* Receive training with ongoing support to set you up for success
Qualifications
* An engaging communication style with active listening skills and proven ability to engage members
* Customer service experience in a retail or similar customer‑focused environment
* A resilient team player who is committed, reliable, and has a positive attitude
* Attention to detail, basic computer literacy, and accurate data entry skills
* Adaptability in a fast‑paced, structured environment
