About the Role
We're seeking a motivated and experienced professional to join our ICT Team as an Administrative IT Support Specialist.
This is a critical role that requires strong administrative and technical skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking various administrative functions across the ICT Team, including payment of IT invoices, meeting agenda and minutes, Telstra billing, IT budget tracking, IT procurement support, IT Hardware asset administration, and supporting IT Functional Leads.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Facilitate correct payment of ICT invoices and serve as the central liaison to Finance for all ICT invoice matters.
2. Maintain the master ICT contracts and software registers, annual ICT budget actual worksheet, and contract/vendor evaluation documents.
3. Monitor the ICT invoices inbox, drafting replies to less complex enquiries.
4. Prepare documents for ICT team meetings and vendor meetings, including minutes, agendas, and meeting requests.
5. Act as a Homebase coordinator for your home site, ensuring that the IT Hardware Asset Station is managed in accordance with the IT Hardware Asset Station Handbook.
6. Provide procedural, administrative, and operational support to the Information Management team.
Requirements:
* Experience working in an ICT team or performing administrative functions.
* Experience working with ServiceNow as an IT Service Management tool.
* Experience working with and managing ICT budgets and vendors.
* Office 365 experience working with Excel, MS Teams, and SharePoint.
* Ability to work on different technology platforms.
* Analytical and research skills, with the ability to collect and analyze complex material and data, and present it in an accessible form.
* Good oral and written communication, and the capacity to be flexible in balancing priorities to meet/exceed customer needs.
* Cultural capability awareness and understanding of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander societies and culture.
* Ability to liaise and communicate sensitively and effectively with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander staff.
