About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting the City Services Directorate of Shoalhaven City Council.
The Executive Assistant will provide high-level secretarial and administrative assistance to the Director - City Services and senior officers, ensuring the smooth operation of the Directorate and the delivery of exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver comprehensive executive and administrative support to the Director and senior officers, including coordinating meetings, preparing reports, and managing correspondence.
* Facilitate exceptional customer service through proactive and efficient administrative practices, ensuring that all stakeholders receive timely and accurate information.
* Network across the organisation to promote and strengthen the branding of the City Services Directorate, building strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
* Support and enhance administrative functions by training, mentoring, and guiding staff in administration roles within the Directorate, contributing to a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Requirements:
* Certificate IV in Office Administration/Secretarial Studies (or equivalent)
* Extensive experience in a role supporting executive management, demonstrating expertise in communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
* Current Class C Driver's Licence, with a valid driver's record.
