We are looking for a Senior Financial Accountant to join the finance function and further support the business.
About the Opportunity
Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, this newly created Senior Financial Accountant position will play a critical role supporting the financial reporting function. Your key deliverables will include:
- Leading month-end close activities, reconciliations, and fixed asset management
- Managing lease accounting, prepayments, and capitalised software development costs
- Supporting the preparation of statutory financial statements and audit processes
- Collaborating with internal teams on sales commissions, consultant payments, and signed contract reporting
- Assisting in the development and maintenance of accounting policies in line with compliance standards
- Preparing and delivering management reports with key financial insights for leadership
Ideal Profile
- You will be CA/CPA qualified, coupled with 5+ years industry experience
- A background in external reporting for ASX-listed companies and a sound understanding of accounting standards
- Excellent attention to detail, with an inquisitive mindset
- Strong communication skills, capable of building successful working relationships across departments
- A proactive, adaptable team player who can also work independently
- Experience using Oracle NetSuite will be favourably considered
