We are looking for someone to join the Wizard team who is seeking a new challenge, someone with a passion for customer engagement, strong leadership, effective business acumen, and experience in effectively managing a retail business.
The Role
Culture is a key part of the Wizard Brand.
We aim to inspire a culture of success, and as a Retail Manager at Wizard, you will be responsible for the management of all retail areas within the pharmacy, including areas of business management, profit and performance, strategic planning, people management, leadership, and cultural development of the team.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, mentor and develop the retail team in the pharmacy, managing front of shop on a day-to-day basis and facilitate the integration of the retail and professional services areas of the pharmacy
Drive a positive culture and workplace environment.
Ensure smooth operations of all retail areas of the pharmacy, including effective rostering and wage management of team, customer engagement, inventory management, promotional activity, and pharmacy presentation.
Drive a consistent excellence level patient and customer experience.
Lead recruitment and team member inductions, supporting team on their development journey, empowering them to develop higher level skills through coaching, mentoring and communication to achieve high performance.
Lead and support team in all brand initiatives including loyalty and affiliate programmes to achieve results.
Deliver on key financial and performance indicators of the pharmacy business, whilst creating strategic ways to grow.
Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours
Retail management experience is essential
Certificate IV in Retail Management or Community Pharmacy advantageous
Pharmacy experience will be looked upon favourably
Strong and effective communication skills
Experience in leading and developing others
Thorough understanding of financial metrics and ability to develop successful business strategies
Goal Oriented
Possess strong work ethic and high level of professionalism
You must have the right to live and work in Australia to apply for this job
