Are you an experienced operational leader ready to step into a high-impact, second-in-command role? Joss is looking for a Deputy Contract Manager to help steer the leadership, governance, and performance of our cleaning contracts across the North Western and Southern NSW regions.

The Role

Based in the thriving Albury Wodonga region, you will support the Contract Manager, providing strategic oversight to ensure our Managers of Operations deliver consistent, high-quality results. You’ll be the bridge between high-level contract strategy and regional execution, ensuring we hit our KPIs while staying true to Joss values and service standards.

Your Key Impact Areas

* Strategic Leadership: Act as the second-in-command, providing guidance to regional Managers of Operations and ensuring clear accountability.
* Contract Governance: Oversee performance data, safety metrics, and compliance to ensure we meet (and exceed) our contractual obligations.
* Relationship Management: Maintain professional ties with key client representatives and handle complex escalations with tact and efficiency.
* Operational Excellence: Identify trends and risks across regions, coordinating improvement strategies to keep the contract running smoothly.
* Commercial Growth: Support the Contract Manager in monitoring financial performance, identifying efficiencies, and scoping new business opportunities.

What You’ll Bring

* Proven Leadership: Experience managing large-scale operational contracts, preferably within the cleaning or facilities management industry.
* Analytical Mindset: The ability to dive into KPIs and performance data to identify trends and systemic issues.
* People Skills: A natural ability to mentor leaders, foster collaboration across regions, and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
* Accountability: A focus on safety, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
