Fremantle Freight and Storage (FFS) is Port Logistics business that has experienced significant growth over the last few years. Our Port Logistics services primarily includes container cartage services, along with complementary services including unpack, storage and re-delivery, AQIS and fumigation services, and cold room storage. FFS operate from 4 primary locations in Perth including 1 customer site. FFS is currently rated as one of the top five container logistics companies in WA.
**The Opportunity**
FFS currently looking for a full-time talented counterbalance forklift driver, day shift 7am - 3pm.
As a Forklift Driver, you will be responsible for:
- The safe movement of customer' stock
- Storing and packing of goods in accordance with appropriate procedures
- Order assembly including picking stock
- Receiving, checking, dispatching and sorting of products
- Operation of computer equipment to carry out store work
- Documenting and recording of goods and materials
- Use of material handling equipment, hand trolleys and pallet truck
**To be successful in this role you'll have**:
- Previous experience using a Counterbalance Forklift
- Ability to use a RF scanner
- The ability to follow instructions and work in a team environment
- Safety first approach for all aspects in the workplace
- Passion for working within the logistics and transport industries
- Ability to work in a team environment with limited supervision
