Overview
Guest Experience Attendant is a casual role at Oaks Hervey Bay Resort and Spa. The position supports Front Office and Housekeeping operations to ensure a welcoming guest experience from check-in to check-out.
Key Responsibilities
* Welcome guests on arrival and handle check-ins/check-outs with efficiency and warmth
* Assist with housekeeping duties including servicing rooms and public areas as required
* Provide local recommendations, handle guest requests, and respond to feedback promptly
* Support linen handling, room setup, and presentation standards
* Ensure guest rooms and public areas are maintained to brand and cleanliness standards
* Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments to ensure guest needs are met
* Process payments accurately and maintain up-to-date guest records
Shift Details
* Rotating roster across Monday to Sunday
* Shift times scheduled within 6:00am to 10:00pm
* Long term opportunity
Hourly Rates (excluding Superannuation)
* Monday - Friday: $33.38 per hour
* Saturday: $40.05 per hour
* Sunday: $46.73 per hour
Qualifications
* 1+ years' experience across Front Office would be highly beneficial
* Demonstrated background in delivering high-quality service within a hotel, hospitality, or customer-facing environment
* Exceptional ability to articulate information clearly and effectively across various mediums, ensuring precise and professional correspondence
* A positive, adaptable attitude and excellent communication skills
* Confidence in handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
* Passionate about creating positive guest experiences, with a focus on attentive service and resolving issues efficiently
* Availability to work across a 7-day rotating roster, including weekends and evenings
