The Job
As a Career Transition Consultant, you'll support people to access meaningful employment and build lasting careers. You'll take the time to understand their strengths and aspirations, offering tailored coaching, linking them to opportunities, and collaborating with employers to open doors.
Main Responsibilities
* Identify and create career pathways for clients with disability or health conditions.
* Promote inclusive employment practices and workforce diversity.
* Engage with employers to address skill shortages through role carving and inclusive recruitment.
* Broker work experience to build client skills and assess employer/client compatibility.
* Prepare workplaces to support and retain clients via adjustments and disability confidence training.
* Facilitate employer training to boost disability awareness and inclusion.
* Build employer and community networks to create job opportunities.
* Promote your organization as a trusted provider supporting people with disability to achieve career goals.
* Meet or exceed internal and external performance benchmarks.
About You
You bring empathy, energy, and a strong drive to make a difference. With experience in employment services, you're confident supporting people, building trust and guiding them into meaningful careers.
* Qualifications in Employment or Human Services are desirable.
* Proven ability to meet KPIs and manage workload effectively.
* Strong understanding of employment barriers faced by people with disability, injury, or health conditions.
* Skilled in providing tailored support and developing client-focused employment plans.
* Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills.
