What does a Maintenance Officer / Public Area Attendant do?
This hands-on role is essential in ensuring our resort stays safe, functional, and visually pristine. You’ll help us deliver high standards through your skills in general maintenance, presentation, and cleanliness.
What you will be doing:
* Performing scheduled preventative maintenance and reactive/breakdown repairs
* Completing painting, touch-ups, and surface repairs throughout the property
* Undertaking basic carpentry tasks as needed
* Using power tools confidently and safely, following OH&S requirements
* Conducting pressure washing of walkways and public spaces
* Washing windows and ensuring external glass surfaces are clean and streak-free
* Assisting with set-up and pack-down of resort events and functions
* Supporting the public area cleaning team with minor maintenance tasks
* Working in a clean, safe, and organised manner at all times
Let’s talk about you!
* Experience in general maintenance or handyman-style roles
* Strong knowledge and safe use of power tools and equipment
* Understanding of OH&S regulations and procedures
* A proactive, “can-do” attitude and willingness to support the wider team
* A keen eye for detail and pride in delivering a high standard of work
* Flexibility to take on a variety of tasks across maintenance and public areas
