Program Scheduler Role
This is a 12-month fixed term contract based in Sydney, focusing on the planning and scheduling of television programs.
* Main Responsibilities:
o Planning and scheduling of program content, including creation of schedules using excel and program scheduling systems like IBMS, as well as managing schedule changes and amendments.
o Providing detailed reports to relevant stakeholders, including ratings analysis and compliance with regulatory requirements.
o Maintaining effective communication with internal and external teams, including publicity, marketing, social media, sales, and content operations.
Essential Skills:
* Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, adapting to last-minute changes and priorities.
* Experience in scheduling, programming operations, or related roles within the broadcast industry is preferred.
* Proficiency in IBMS or similar program scheduling systems is advantageous.
* Strong self-management skills, with the ability to work independently as part of a team and assist colleagues as needed.
* An interest in the broadcast media sector and its operations.
