Key Responsibilities
* In this role, you will provide senior-level technical expertise, guidance and coordination across a diverse portfolio of surveying projects.
* You will take responsibility for managing projects end-to-end, including client engagement, project planning, delivery oversight and financial performance. Building and maintaining strong client relationships within the infrastructure and development sectors will be a key focus.
* You will lead fieldwork, calculations and data processing activities, ensuring quality, accuracy and efficiency across all project stages. In addition, you will work closely with Team Leaders and the Survey Manager on resource planning, project allocation and continuous improvement initiatives.
* A core part of this role will involve mentoring and supporting junior team members, fostering capability development and contributing to a high-performing team environment. You will also ensure compliance with company work health and safety standards and promote best practice across all activities.
About You
* You will be registered with the Surveyors Board of Queensland as an Associate Surveyor, or be a Graduate working towards registration, with full Surveyor registration or above highly regarded.
* You will bring 4–6 years' experience across a range of surveying projects, with a proven ability to manage projects independently and deliver outcomes to a high standard.
* Demonstrated experience in client management, stakeholder engagement and informal or formal leadership will be highly regarded.
* Strong organisational and time management skills are essential, along with advanced proficiency in surveying equipment and software.
* Experience with Trimble instruments and 12D will be advantageous.
* You will be confident operating in technically complex environments, making sound decisions and driving project outcomes, supported by strong technical capability and clear communication skills.
* A current QLD manual driver's licence is required.
* You must be based in Brisbane or open to relocation, with full working rights, as sponsorship is not available for this role.
