**Trainee Developer and Administrator, ICT & HR**

**Clerk Grade**:01/02
**Salary range**:$73,522 to $79,931 plus superannuation
**Employment Type**:Temporary opportunity for up to 12 months, with the possibility of extension, Full-time
**Location**:Parramatta
**This role sits within the People & Culture Division in the myCareer team.**

**About this role**

This 12-month temporary opportunity, based in Parramatta, comes with the possibility of extension and vendor-specific training, and practical experience within a NSW Government agency.

**What you'll be doing**

Your responsibilities will include:

- Supporting and maintaining the Cornerstone on Demand Human Resource system, focusing on Learning, Development, and Recruitment modules
- Gaining experience in human capital management systems (HCM), learning management systems (LMS), and recruitment systems (ATS)
- Developing skills in web design and development using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Providing helpdesk support and troubleshooting for system users
- Exploring innovative technologies, including machine learning, bots, and AI
- Assisting with project management tasks and gaining exposure to ICT and HR processes
- Working independently, as part of a team, and remotely when required

**What you'll bring to the table**

To make the most of this opportunity, you should demonstrate:

- A passion for technology and a drive to build a career in IT and HR
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to work independently, as part of a team, and remotely when needed\
- A proactive and enthusiastic approach to learning and development
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and/or Adobe Creative Cloud (highly regarded)
- Experience or interest in web design and development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
- Critical thinking and customer service skills
- A commitment to completing formal and on-the-job training
- A can-do attitude and an eagerness to learn
