With the pending retirement of our Works Manager here is the opportunity to use those exceptional maintenance skills coupled with your proven time management to deliver quality service in this senior role within our business.
Qualifications
* A qualification or certificate in a building trade (preferably carpentry).
* An organised approach to problem solving and time management.
* An involvement in workplace health & safety.
* An attention to detail.
* The ability to lead with integrity.
Responsibilities
* Managing a small team of maintenance workers servicing the 6 sites within Gawler which comprise Gawler Community Retirement Homes.
* Undertaking maintenance & refurbishment work as prioritised.
* Liaison with the residents and potential residents.
Reporting to the General Manager a flexible remuneration package commensurate with the skills and abilities you bring to the role will be negotiated. Gawler Community Retirement Homes has the benefit of being a Private Benevolent Institution when considering salary arrangements.
