Overview
We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced lawyer to join the busy and highly regarded Labour & Employment (L&E) team in our Sydney office. You will enjoy working within our Sydney L&E team, but given our collaborative culture, you will also enjoy working with our Perth L&E team, as well as our wider global L&E teams. Collaboration is key, so we are seeking a team player who is hardworking, down to earth, and adopts an inclusive work style. The role will mainly involve a mix of advisory and litigation work, with some corporate support work. Private practice experience is essential, but in-house experience, or experience within the courts/commissions, employer associations or government, would also be valued. Our clients include both Australian and multinational organisations, including FTSE100 and Fortune 100 companies.
Responsibilities
* Advisory and litigation work in Labour & Employment law
* Some corporate support work
* Collaborate with Sydney and Perth L&E teams, as well as wider global L&E teams
* Provide excellent service under pressure; work both collaboratively and autonomously
Qualifications
* At least 10 years' legal experience primarily in Labour & Employment law
* Private practice experience essential
* In-house experience, or experience within courts/commissions, employer associations or government, would be valued
* Experience with Australian and multinational organisations, including FTSE100 and Fortune 100 companies
